Datus IB PYP Year 6 Students Visit Association International School
February 10, 2026 at 09:00 AM
The road to a great IB PYP Exhibition begins long before a student stands in front of a display board. It begins with exposure, observation, and the willingness to learn from others who have walked the same path.
That is exactly what our Year 6 IB PYP students experienced when they were invited to Association International School to witness its ongoing Exhibition firsthand.
This was a purposeful academic visit. Our Year 6 class is preparing for its own Exhibition, one of the most significant milestones in the IB Primary Years Programme. Observing another school's Exhibition gave the students a valuable opportunity to see inquiry-based learning in action beyond their own classrooms.
The students observed how different learners framed their central ideas, explored diverse approaches to research and presentation, asked questions, and returned with sharper instincts for what makes an Exhibition compelling.
The IB PYP is built on the principle that learning is not confined to a single environment. When IB schools share knowledge and experience, students benefit from broader perspectives and stronger academic connections.
The visit deepened the relationship between Datus International School and Association International School while reinforcing our belief that globally minded students are shaped by diverse experiences, environments, and ideas.
Our students returned to their Exhibition preparation with greater clarity, stronger inspiration, and a broader frame of reference. We are proud of the maturity and curiosity with which they represented Datus.
We thank the Association International School community for welcoming our students and supporting international education in practice. Datus International School is an authorized IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme in Ghana.
