Datus International School Tema has successfully organised the 2025 graduation ceremony of the School marking the end of the 2024/25 academic year and preparations towards the commencement of the 2025/26 academic year in September.
The colourful event held at the school premises and attended by parents and guardians from the PYP Department to the IG Department saw the presentation of awards and certificates to deserving students from both Departments for their sterling performance during the Academic year under review.
It also recognized the excellent performance of the two students from the School who emerged the over all best students in the Cambridge Examinations in ICT and Manhadrin respectively.
The Staff of the two Departments were also acknowledged for their dedication and hard work towards promoting academic excellence in the School.
The special guest of honour, himself an old student of the School , Prof. Paul Nyagorme delivering his key note address commended the School for being the pace setter and setting high standards for others to emulate.
He was full of praise for Management and Staff , and especially the graduates for the successes chalked , but was quick to add that better days are ahead .
He noted that the best place to enroll for a bright future is Datus, which is first among equals .
He encouraged the graduates to step into the future with the three principles of Courage, Compassion and Curiosity (3cs) and create their own positive future.
The Principal of the IG Division of the School Mr. Stephen Corley on his part asked the graduates to enter the world with an attitude of Discipline which according to him is the foundation for achievement and excellence in every sphere of life.
The side attractions of the event were colourful displays of creativity ,talents , and cultural performances from students of the PYP Department.
